Pathways Enrichment Activities

Pathways - A Future In Sport looks to inspire participants to pursue a higher education and a career in the Sports Industry. The event will explore different career paths and ways in which you can make yourself stand out from the crowd and give yourself a head start in successfully progress in the sports industry. Using guest speakers and professional input, participant will be able to understand what recruiters look for from an individual starting their career in Sport.

Before the health, fitness and well activity you will need to watch the below two videos. This will prepare you and give you an insight into what to expect. 

It is important to think about what career information, advice and guidance is available to you. This will be especially useful to you when you are looking to make choices about further study and employment opportunities. Utilise the below attachments, which give an outline of careers in health, fitness and well being in sport. 

Do you enjoy creative writing? Do you think you could write a winning 500 word short story? Watch our short video to find out how to enter. A panel of judges will then be tasked with identifying the top three ‘short stories. 1^st Prize- £50, 2^nd Prize- £20, 3^rd Prize- £10

There are a range of resources available for you to utilise, which will develop your writing skills. Whether you are at the beginning of your journey, or already writing, there will be useful information for your to utilise. 

This activity will be great if you have aspirations to become an author, journalist or you want to develop your writing skills. Whatever your ambitions this will be a great activity to ensure you are continuing to develop your writing skills.
