Have you ever wondered if prison can really change criminal behaviour? Or perhaps if the experiences you had before the age of five really do shape the person you are today?  A Level Psychology will give you an understanding of why people think and behave in certain ways. Psychology is the scientific study of the processes of the human mind, especially those affecting  thoughts and behaviour. We will cover plenty of interesting and stimulating topics such as how memories are formed, the ways in which members in groups can influence the opinions and beliefs of others and the role of psychology in the criminal justice system.

This qualification offers you the chance to learn the fundamentals of the subject and develop skills valued by universities and employers, including critical analysis, independent thinking and research. This experience will also prepare you for further study and a range of  interesting and challenging careers.
